Reynisfjara gilt als einer der ikonischsten Stränd Reynisfjara gilt als einer der ikonischsten Strände Islands. Für mich war er jedoch nie nur ein Fotospot. Schwarzer Sand unter den Füßen, Basaltsäulen im Rücken, raues Meer vor mir. Ein Ort mit einer solchen Anziehungskraft, dass ich viermal dorthin zurückgekehrt bin. Anfang Februar haben starke Winde und Strömungen innerhalb weniger Wochen, so große Mengen Sand abgetragen, dass der Strand nahezu verschwunden ist. Meine Fotos zeigen, wie ich Reynisfjara in Erinnerung behalten möchte. Ein Abschied von Reynisfjara, wie es einmal war. Nicht für Perfektion. Sondern weil Fotografie Räume verändern kann. Weil Bilder Stimmungen tragen. Weil sie leise etwas in uns berühren. Ich war eine Zeit lang still hier,
weil Sichtbarkeit auch Zweifel mitbringt. Aber meine Arbeit nicht zu zeigen,
hat sich irgendwann falscher angefühlt als die Unsicherheit. Also bin ich wieder da.

Vor zwei Wochen war ich mit einer Freundin in Görl Vor zwei Wochen war ich mit einer Freundin in Görlitz – einer der ältesten Städte Sachsens. Ein kleiner, schöner Wochenendtrip! Verwinkelte Gassen, historische Fassaden, Kopfsteinpflaster – ein bisschen wie eine Zeitreise. Überall Motive, Licht und Details, die man festhalten möchte. Gotik, Renaissance, Barock und Jugendstil an jeder Ecke. Ein Ort, der sofort entschleunigt – genau das, was ich dringend gebraucht habe. Wir haben offene und herzliche Menschen getroffen – auch wenn es auf den Bildern so wirkt, als würde es in Görlitz keine Menschen geben 😄 Ein Wochenende, das Seele und Kamera glücklich gemacht hat. … Two weeks ago, I visited Görlitz – one of Saxony’s oldest towns – with a friend. It was a lovely little weekend trip! Winding alleys, historic façades, cobbled streets – it was a bit like travelling back in time. Everywhere you look, there are motifs, light and details that you want to capture. Gothic, Renaissance, Baroque and Art Nouveau at every turn. A place that immediately slows you down – exactly what I needed.
